Our Story

We are really happy you are here and we can share the Boogie Feeling with you.

Let us introduce ourselves a little bit before we meet in person. We are a married couple from Hungary, Budapest. We started to dance together in 2013 but both of us had danced a lot before.

Things to know about Timi

I have been dancing since 2004. I started with ballroom dancing and after a year I found boogie-woogie. Or…boogie-woogie found me ? I always loved rock and roll music and I always loved dances which you could dance to that style. So among ballroom dances my favourite was jive, then rock and roll and finally boogie. Since 2005 I’ve taken part in many trainings, workshops and showcases and for a few years I was an official competitor as well. It’s a big part of my life and my main hobby and passion. During this time I had a lot of fun, made friends, lost some weight and found love.

I am really happy that we can share all of this passion and greatness boogie-woogie can bring to your life. I can’t wait to see all of you in class.

Things to know about Tomi

I was born in Hungary many aeons ago. I started dancing in 1996, right after my prom. Of course, that time, I was only introduced to ballroom dances like waltz, cha-cha and jive. But then, as it usually happens, I met a girl and we decided to try something else, which was new to both of us, and we chose boogie-woogie. The girl left, but the love for boogie has stayed. I went to a couple of competitions, trained hard, but most of all, I had a lot of fun dancing boogie-woogie.

When we, my wife and I came to the UK, we realised that although many swing-based dances are taught, somehow boogie was a missing spot and since we loved this dance so much, we decided to start teaching.

I hope that our love towards this fun dance can be passed to you and you will love it as much as we do.
